*Kinusaiga Workshop*
Join us on Saturday, November 14th from 2-5pm for an afternoon of art hosted at our new Urban Treasures Shop (1875 Pembina Hwy)! We will be creating a beautiful 6" cozy quilt block Kinusaiga piece with the help of local artist, Stacy, from 8 o'clock LINEN CO. She will lead you through the basics of Kinusaiga and you will leave with new skills and a beautiful piece of art! Please note that there will be many fabrics to choose from, your piece will truly be one-of-a kind!
What is Kinusaiga? A traditional Japanese textile art where small pieces of fabric are carefully tucked into grooves cut into a board to build a pattern.
Come with a friend, make it a date night, bring your mom, or come solo - we’ll take care of everything you need for a fun and creative night out!
We’ll have a special cocktail/mocktail, and an assortment of snacks & treats to enjoy while you create, plus workshop guests receive 20% off shopping before and after the event!
The cost is $75 per person and limited spots are available.
Completed waiver required to participate. Suggested age of participant is 12+.
Your receipt will be your ticket for the event.
Parking & entry at the back of the building.
Cancellation Policy:
We require 48 hours notice prior to the event. Refunds will be issued as store credit only. Please contact us at urbantshop@gmail.com with any questions.
